These crucifixes are all quite old, from the 1800’s, if not earlier. They were purchased on the border of Bolivia and Peru and were originally made from old Spanish coins that had been melted down. They have a beautiful patina and show quite a bit of wear. They use a mixture of casting with tooling, a special find these days and great examples of Colonial jewelry. See what is available in my shop on Etsy. You might also find some tribal jewelry mixed in there.
